It's getting rave reviews everywhere, it has like a 4.0 score at Letterboxd.
This is the trans Joker movie that was filmed without getting any rights to do so so it's been stuck in some sort of legal limbo for a while.
The quality, production, story and acting aren't even at the level of the Channel Awesome anniversary films.
The one thing I did appreciate about it was the mixed media approach to it but it has been done much better elsewhere and there didn't seem to be any reason for it in this film other than for the sake of being weird.
It also seems you can't say anything bad about this awful film without people starting to insult you, thinking you either didn't get it (the film is in no way subtle about what it is trying to say) or that you only watch blockbusters and can't handle anything different.
Different does not equal good and this shitty pretentious YouTube essay masquerading as a film was many things but good is not one of them.
It also has this weird throughline about how comedy sucks and how all comedians are genuinely bad people.

"A law-breaking comedian who is grappling with her gender identity forms a new anti-comedy troupe with a friend and finds herself battling a fascistic caped crusader."
