You’re right in a way. My only thing is 1) that wasn’t completely his fault. The police especially were the fuck ups as I recall. And 2) Chris, while not as big as in the TCAP days, still had steady work at Dateline.

No, it falls on his management for not cooperating with the local authorities. I'm surprised there wasn't a wrongful death suit against him and NBC given they completely created the circumstance where the guy had no way out of it. I mean I don't give a shit about a dead pedo, but it really is no surprise the show was done with that. They probably knew it was going to lead to a massive lawsuit.
