I walked into my buddy's place one time and his super quiet, shy gf was watching some Amy Adams movie where she was in a plane right after that Amelia Earhart movie with Hillary Swank (who is not Amy Adams) came out.

I was like "is that the Amelia Earhart movie?" and she was just like "Yeah." I kept going back and forth through the house and kept catching little glimpses of the Amelia Earhart movie. "Oh cool, Oliver Platt." "Why the fuck are they in a boat?" "What the fuck? An alligator?" And she'd just be like "I think they took some liberties with the Amelia Earhart story."

Eventually I saw someone on a cell phone or something and was like "This isn't the Amelia Earhart movie, is it?" And she was like "It's Lake Placid you fucking moron." And that was the first time I realized that chick was actually funny. I've seen Lake Placid and I don't know how I didn't put it together. I just forgot about Amy Adams being in it I guess. I was also thinking Amy Adams played Earhart in the biopic because she played her in Night At The Museum and I got confused.

Edit: it isn't even Amy Adams in Lake Placid. It's Bridget fucking Fonda. I really am an idiot. I just saw a bitch in a plane and was like "AMELIA EARHART, RIGHT??"
