Stunned silence followed by the most forced laugh I've ever heard. The effect all professional comics want to have on their audience, child.
He sets up the punchline for 28 whole seconds, completing it at the end of the 0:28 mark and it's almost 0:33 before the host even begins his fake laugh. All the hallmarks of Rick Comedy: extremely long set up, unnecessarily wordy punchline, poor delivery (stumbles over the punchline, obviously fake overconfidence), and a premise/payoff that is completely detached from reality and from anything that anyone would find funny.

It's the exact same formula for that standup video where he uses signing away Annabelle as a joke, which also went over like a big fat unemployed lead balloon. Rick Comedy™.
