He had to lie about it being from 1977. These are made to look vintage. Same wear/fading spots on all the shirts. This one almost matches pats and I bet it has the laser printed on sizing that never existed back then. Especially the website printed on it 30 years before the internet.

it's probably a fat cope. When I was over 210 lbs I started getting really weird about what I would wear in public, could never just wear a t shirt as I was embarrassed.
ps - I am not fat anymore - 165 lbs and if anything I am starting to feel the opposite because I keep getting comments about needing to put on weight. (nice background info no one asked for, stupid) sorry - I couldn't let ppl here think I was a tubby tomlinson still.
