Jesus christ. What was it like inside the cabin when that was happening? Ever since binge watching a bunch of airplane crash videos, I research airlines now and look for incidents before booking

Chaos for a time. There was a dull thud, the plane did this fucked up little lurch and dropped, some people got tossed around and it was screeching and screaming, mostly in Chinese. I couldn't tell you how long that went on. After the wing didn't disintegrate and an announcement was made that we were diverting, it was calmish, at least in first, but the plane had this shake that wasn't really inspiring confidence. Ages of nervous muttering and the occasional yelp until we landed, which wasn't that bad, then more screeching when people noticed the smoke coming off the wheels. Would not reccomend.
