Nana's business plan back then was to capitalize on CP Media being Artie's last gig when he OD'ed.

Not only did Artie get the better of the old pedo by not dying, he never spoke of CP Media outside the show, and the channel was never mentioned in any of the many articles that were written about Artie's legal issues at the time.

This is 100% accurate. Nana was hoping he'd become newsworthy when Retartie was found dead in some parking garage, but the no-nosed fucker didn't die. On top of that, Artie didn't even pretend to take it seriously at all. He skipped shows all the time and when he bothered showing up he was zapped out of his mind, leaving the set mid-show to go do blow in the bathroom. And yeah, he NEVER mentioned Nana or CM in any interviews, ever. He bilked ol' Nana good.
