Mentioned this a whole ago but I knew a vurry progressive nanny to a vurry Jewish family. She moved out of her state entirely because of how ashamed she was of being associated with the right wing shit there (NH, not TX,etc)
The 6yo boy she was watching was friends with the son of these lesbians. They were trying to raise their son as "non-binary" so when the 6 year old accidentally said "him" they had a serious sit down talk about gender, pronouns, etc. 6yo ended up feeling guilty, like he did something wrong.
Kid never ended up hanging out with that kid again. "Fags just aren't worth it," said the six year old.
