Jim was the first fake edgy comic of the 2000's. Now he's a soccer mom and everyone else is pretending to be edgy, when in reality they only fear getting cancelled because of rape allegations and not their jokes.
"Not being edgy" into his elderly years isn't really a problem, it's actually worse when old men won't recognize they're old and out of it. Being sanitized and trying to throw friends like Louie under the bus to reinvent himself while having been a rapist is bad, though.
