The show is starting to feel as directionless as the first season. I like the idea of studying the dynamic between pilots, but all the shit about Sully’s life was retarded. It’s funny they burn a bunch of money on this show doing dumb shit but this was just plain stupid.

I enjoyed it but I thought it was probably the worst episode of the season. The Sully episode was 11/10.

I know/have known at least three pilots with varying degrees of...social/personality...issues?
One was a very very nice guy, flew for a decent company that paid well, loved to party, eat ecstasy, Burning Man attendee super positive and friendly dude. Hadn't seen him in a few years and then heard the story of his death:
He was partying at a neighbors house who lived next to a golf course. Ball comes into partying yard, argument ensues. Pilot walks home, gets gun, comes back, shoots golfist dude(who doesn't die), then goes back to his house and blows his own brains out in his front yard. Oops! Really wanted to sneakily drop golf balls out of my jacket around at his death party thing to see how many I could leave around before someone either yells, cries, or laughs. I bitched out though.
Second dude is a fat schlub who's not obese but is way too big. Used to host an indie radio show in his part time which I guess is what brought out the better part of his personality and made him seem like more of a normal guy. Didn't see him for years and last time I saw him he was even fatter and now worked for Allegiant, which doesn't signal to me that he's in one of the better paying situations for a pilot. Was very excited to introduce me to the only girlfriend type person he'd had since I've known him though, so good for him but definitely socially awkward.
The third one is British.
