I think if anything all i’m trying to do, besides make a funny post, is “flip the script”. Republicans like Reagan loved AIDS killing faggots but was also kiked enough to propose amnesty and restrict guns. Truman hated jews and wouldn’t let them in his home but also created the state of Israel.

Democrats are true racists in their beliefs but not in their legislation. Republicans aren’t racist but are in their legislation (to appeal to their voters)
People like Reagan or Bush would swear up and down “No i’m not racist! I have a black friend!” meanwhile LBJ and Truman would go “Yeah i’m racist they’re not people.”
I mean to a degree but the Presidents referenced were still early enough to not count towards that flip. Truman was the first Democrat to start courting blacks.
