Since 2000, the Republicans have won the white share of the vote with 55-59% while McCain having the lowest share and Romney the highest.

In 2016 with Clinton, Democrats received the lowest share of white votes with 37%. On average, from 2000 to 2024 elections, Democrats usually win 41-42% of the white vote. So Harris performed a little bit better than average. To use the lowest as the baseline, instead of the average, to prove a white flight towards Democrats is stupid since 1 data point proves nothing.

Now lets look at the Republicans: Trump won the smallest amount of the white vote since Bush 04 (55%): He got 57% and he won that in 16, 20, and 24.
