Pig had been holding onto that same dinosaur model since his marriage with Adrienne. That marriage went to shit yet he kept that dinosaur and the beat up box he stored it in.
The same dinosaur is a source of anger and despair for his second, better wife. There is no masking the disgust she feels over her manbaby and his toys.
That dinosaur represents everything wrong with Pat; his childish interests, the free time spent painting the model rather than a real job, etc.
The dinosaur will ultimately lead to his second, better divorce. I only hope Niki smashes it to pieces in front of him the day she stomps out the door and out of his life.
