So I recently saw The Pianist...

And one scene stood out to me. One of the Jewish elderly people said that the Jewish American bankers should "persuade" America in declaring the war to Germany. Now we all know what they meant by "persuading" but I was surprised that the scene is probably overlooked by many. It really shows the things those people are willing to do when it comes to self-preservation.

Imagine plunging a whole nation into a world war by strong arming it through its financial institutions because you don't want to go to summer camp and enjoy a shower.

Other than that. It's a great movie that displays the hardships people in world war 2 had to go through. Imagine having to fight on two fronts while trying to keep the dream of a funny mustached gentleman alive.
