Nothing is gonna top abandoning his daughter and using her as a puppet on social media. You can play devil's advocate on pretty much anything else but that one is not defensible.

Actually, cheating at a half marathon is up there as well. It's so small and petty. All the other ones can be explained by poor choices or last resorts but cheating at a half marathon is so strangely odd and small which I think summarizes Pat well.

It's hard to top abandoning his daughter, but I'd give an honorable mention to his entire "stealthy geek" persona. It shows how truly delusional he is that he thought his "geekdom" was somehow hidden under the surface. He called himself "A marathon runner who's obsessed with lifting weights, and also writes sci-fi novels". When Pat first came on the scene, I thought "stealthy" meant he liked to play stealth characters in RPGs or something, but the actual meaning is so much worse.
