The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of an arrest made at a demonstration.
On Sunday, November 10, 2024, police were in the Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West area for a demonstration.
It is alleged that:

• the suspect attended the area to counter-demonstrate
• the suspect was stomping on an Israeli flag across the street from a large crowd of demonstrators
• the suspect was cautioned by police for breach of peace
• the suspect continued to drag and stomp on the flag
• the suspect was subsequently placed under arrest

David Shultz, 40, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:

1. Obstruct Peace Officer

He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Street, on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 2pm, in room 201.
