I doubt they would bring a flatbed to get his car out of an alley. There isn't enough room to back up to it. If it was a fake call saying it was illegally parked the tow truck driver would assume the person calling doesn't have access to the keys, so they would bring a regular tow truck. It's a lot more maneuverable and you can lift the back end up and move it without damaging anything. With a flatbed he'd have to drag it out of the space into the alley, and then onto the truck with the car in gear the whole time. It's possible, but it will be loud as hell and it could easily break a bunch of shit on the car.

Some old friends of mine were badass repomen. The kind of guys you wouldnt dare fuck with. Ive told stories of them “stealing” cars out of the ghetto before. They took all the calls noone else wanted to touch with a 10ft pole. If they had a motorcycle to reposses, they would literally kick it over and hook a winch up to it and drag it onto the flatbed. They would drag Pats piece of shit 1/4 mile down the alley on its hood then haul it away to the junkyard.
