TLDR:
Of all the things I hear getting labelled a "psy-op" on this site this one front to back is the fishiest for me. An almost too perfect motive, a 3-d printed murder weapon, victim is visible noted healthcare CEO and a perpetrator from a "well to do" family. If this was as cut and dried as I've just written it up they'd have mentioned his name as few times as possible and thrown him in solitary, because you don't want your donor base worrying that this will become a trend. You try to make as little noise as possible whilst quietly giving the kid the death penalty, no? The family certainly aren't making a fuss to an audible degree.
The OP photo is why it stinks to high heaven, why turn this guy into a Marvel supervillain with the filmed military guard? I think that executive level people that can pull strings wanted a giant demonstration of what will happen if you try to bum on their plans to hike the price of everything beyond a palatable level. They probably decided to just let one happen before it happened organically and trended outwith their control.
