The problem is that when Nick told jokes he would get fired. He got rejected from Comedy Central for telling jokes with 'nigger' and 'faggot' in it. Nick was once famously rejected for a pilot because he called the TV executives 'goo gobblers' in an actual professional meeting. You think Nick could do his act for literally network or streaming site anymore?

IIRC he went in to pitch a show with Denis Leary, and they asked "is your character married?" and he replied "he was, but his pregnant wife fell down the stairs." Apparently their jaws hit the floor, after the meeting Leary was like "what the fuck, Nick!?" and he sent flowers to the one woman who was in the meeting.
Liberals will give a great deal of deference to a loud black man out of white guilt / fear. They will never extend that to a 5 and a half foot tall guinea who looks like the guy who sells them pizza slices out of a truck.
Nick's always had this problem, though. Nick will tell a funny joke, then turn and say, "That's right, I said it snowflakes!" He'll always add one more jenga brick to a solid joke that makes it a clumsy nudge nudge to the neckbeards in the room.
Perpetual anger and bitterness is not a good look...He's funny but his unwarranted bitterness got tiresome. He was tall and athletic, reasonably good looking, Why do you always hef to be mad? If he was an obese nigger it may have worked, but sass/bitterness on a well put together White man gets tiresome.
I tell that joke once a month.
I think a lot of people kinda liked the novelty of it for a good part of his career. In the past 10 years or so, though, it's taken on a much more bitter tone.
