You can't have the guy work and deal with customers at a McDonald's that wasn't closed down for the day (staged) because you would have to assess each customer coming in for/as any potential threat. Of course, it has to be closed for the day. Of course, the customers are actors. Two attempts on his life, you better believe this is the protocol now. Even if he was just going in to buy food, it's a whole production in terms of security. That's the deal. These people know this, and it's really frustrating to see them pretending to be this dumb.
