I’m not a history expert. What my understanding is, is that they hated government. They all didn’t want government, but thought it was necessary. They created documents to facilitate the overthrowing of government when it became too powerful. That’s what they thought. The only real mistake they made was thinking they could control government. I’m not a history expert. What my understanding is, is that they hated government. They all didn’t want government, but thought it was necessary. They created documents to facilitate the overthrowing of government when it became too powerful. That’s what they thought. The only real mistake they made was thinking they could control government. The only way to restrain the state is for national defense and public safety to be largely citizen's militias. It wasn't the armed forces but rather police powers that operate with a grant of force ordered largely by appointees that ruined it all. If we all carried and had small local Sheriffs forces with limited numbers and deputized citizens as needed, we'd be better off.

Good take, the necessary evils always expand beyond necessity. The first federal government was so weak it couldn't function, the second was strong enough to expand far beyond design. The only way to restrain the state is for national defense and public safety to be largely citizen's militias. It wasn't the armed forces but rather police powers that operate with a grant of force ordered largely by appointees that ruined it all. If we all carried and had small local Sheriffs forces with limited numbers and deputized citizens as needed, we'd be better off.

I don't know where you're looking but be mindful that if it is in a fast-growing area it could be 18 months before you can get a well professionally dug because of the backlog. If you can afford something with water and septic already approved or dug you are ahead of the game.

Hell of a compliment for a man whose last unassisted passing effort in school was in grade school. And even that isn't confirmed; it may be optimistic to give him even that.
