The concussion around the fired turret would definitely be heavy. You’d most likely be thrown off the tank, and land unconscious on the ground a decent distance away. You might be lucky and avoid breaking your back or your neck, every bone in your limbs or getting a skull fracture, do have fun.

I’m pretty sure that came from Youtube or Reddit. With Youtube when reaction / cringe channels got big like Leafy he would leave the full video and username up which would cause people to flood the videos with hate comments. The same went on with Reddit in mocking subforums where someone would post a Tweet and the OP would get harassed. Both sites eventually cracked down on this and called it harassment, stipulating that if you post someone else's content you have to block out their user or add a clarification to not go and harass the people. From what it looks like this shit spread to Twitter as well.

Absolutely. I’d say the decibel level of a turret firing next to your head would be loud enough to cause your ears to ring and even temporary cause your brain to shut down.
