Patrick takes time away from being a victim of gang stalking to make partially correct critiques of the redditor’s punctuation. The quotation marks after Josiah are incorrectly placed. The last quotation marks are a citation (Dan this is a reference to Patrick’s ridiculous pro se filings) and therefore are placed inside the sentence .

This. It’s unwieldy when writing because as you type the quote may or may not end up being the end of the sentence. Unless you need to indicate that the spoken text was a question there’s almost never a need for it.
