Dummy also doesn't understand different climates. Arid regions have dry heat and cool off significantly when the sun goes down. Oceanic climates like in Western Europe have way more humidity which means that it's absolutely miserable when a heat wave hits. No wind to speak of and the night time temperature barely drops.

It's why Brits flee en masse to countries like Spain for a few weeks even if it's predicted that the temperature is gonna be the same as back home.
