- On 13 April 2023, the individual responsible for calling the fake emergences (SWATs) to Mr. Tomlinson's house, a SWAT-for-hire dealer named "Torswats", revealed that Mr. Tomlinson ordered the SWATs to his own house because he wanted to get in the news and sue the MPD for money.
- Torswats would repeat these allegations in private chats which were not intended for public view.

I've said it before but the shows where it's Jim and Anthony are a mess and only saved if they have comedians in like Vos, Bobby, Derosa, Colin etc. The bit about Anthony hating Space Balls is an example of this only working because a comedian was in studio. Now look at the shows with just Anthony and Opie. They had structure even if it boiled down to them just reminiscing or shooting the shit. Opie was his best when Jim wasn't there and those shows are still listenable to today.
The Opie love bit sucks.
I don't want to be too down on Opie or Anthony in their solo efforts. They are powerless by their lonesome. It's not an insult. That ampersand is the reason for their success. Nopie shows have a following because Norton and Cumia have a homoerotic relationship and they could flirt without supervision from the decision maker and breadwinner of the company.

Yeah, a "Jim and Ant" show would need to include an entire roster of regulars to be salvageable. At the absolute minimum, Sam would need to be involved. And when Sam fucking Roberts is the secret ingredient in making your chemstreee work, it's not even worth doing.
Opie went to college and worked professionally pretty much his entire life. Anthony was a high school dropout and drunk and drug user who never held a job for long and had no career ambitions. Norton was another dropout who worked at a box factory for five years until being fired then was on unemployment for almost a decade.
Opie took Anthony on and gave him a career. And it was Brother Joe who made the song parody and sent it in to Opie not even Anthony who did anything. Dice took Norton on and gave him a career then became sick of him and basically dumped him on O&A. Dice had another comedian cancel on him and needed a last minute replacement and got Norton.
So it is no surprise that Anthony and Norton cannot do anything on their own without very competent managers or bosses around them. Norton on his own is too degenerate for mainstream acceptance. Without someone cultivating his image he taking PREP and AIDS medication publicly and admitting to having tranny hookers take dumps on him. And Anthony is basically just as unhinged. These two were always maniacs but Opie and Sirius-XM basically kept them in line enough to the point that not even the fans realized how sick these two were in their personal lives.
