Hello, my fellow shitmittens. I visited Milwaukee yesterday. Join me on my Patrick Tomlinson inspired trip.
*Disclaimer: I had no intention to stalk or harm Patrick, or even approach him in any capacity, as I know that that would end very badly for me. I’d be neutralized and arrested and spend many years in my 8x10.
It was a chilly and gray out.
Dane Cook was also in town.
A bunch of bikers ready for the Veteran’s Day Parade.
Lots of Trump support throughout the city, which has to make the Pigman seethe.
The Up Down. One of Pig’s spots. I considered having a beer here, but it was one of those gay adult arcade type of places. Not my style.
The Garage. Another one of his spots. This place also sucked. I think it’s a chain too. It was full of college kids doing beer bongs at noon. I don’t know why Pig would ever hang here.
Macaulay Culkin.
Watched Liverpool beat Aston Villa at the Liverpool supporters bar.
And last, but not least. Hooligan’s Super Bar.
Yes child. I DID order the Boy Burger. It was heavenly (it actually was a bit of alright). I also recognized the bun from Pig’s bar Thanksgiving dinner. That meal was definitely from here.
Yes, child. I DID buy a hoodie to commemorate my visit.
Izzy Hops. Another one of his spots. This place was dead. I had a beer and bounced.
And that’s about it. I was only there for a few hours. I live in Chicago now, so I decided to go on a whim, since it’s a 1.5 hour train ride. I also planned to drop into The Swinging Door, but it was too far a walk. I did not walk past his house and I didn’t spot him in person.
And yes, child. I DID buy my mom a hoodie, mug, and coaster that I will gift her for Christmas when I go back home to California next month. I’ll post a photo of them when I get home.
