I would almost guarantee that Annabelle considers PCJ her dad and not Pat.

I'd also think that if Pat's Tomlinson Tall Tales about his dad are even kind of true that deep down inside, Tommy knows he failed as a father with Pat. The fact that Kyle turned out ok is probably what keeps him going.
