He just didn't rim him in any sort of fake way. Basically he was unimpressed by the format. Essentially it's a zoom stand up special. So it's hardly going to be the same as a live gig and it wasn't for Dave.

I just finished this special, not Norm’s finest hour but we’re lucky to have it. Chappelle’s experience with Norm filming Screwed says it all really, we lost a real one last year. We could all be so lucky to have a friend like that.
