There's only one rainbow cross walk in my city and it took me years to figure out that's because it leads to a gay coffee shop which I had been frequenting the whole time. They had a trans server and drag queens doing karaoke. I still didn't realize this isn't just the new normal.

They painted all the picnic tables in the parks in my town rainbows and people have destroyed them. They're always getting thrown in the river too. It's really a target for vandalism and it'd be stupid to not get rid of it. Before kids were just carving pipes into the table and the word FUCK. Now there's adults stopping by on their way home from work like "I'm gonna go flip that fag table into the river again."
