If Joe were to somehow die right now, literally everyone would be so, so much better off. His kid would inherit a few hundred bucks, his brother would at long last be free of his "obligation" to him and the local Moose Lodge could go back to hosting open mic nights. Everyone would come out ahead, except for maybe the local mortician who'd be tasked with draining and stuffing that fat piece of shit's corpse.
