So fucking gross and really odd.

Not sure. my goal of moving out here almost 5 years ago was to get a condo. or a house. The cheapest condo is no bullshit, 375K.

I might move to the great lake area to be near my parents; both in their 70s and condos are like 100k.

Just doing a quick search of condo's a hour from my parents: there in one that is 175K and it's twice the size of my apt. The mortgage is just a tad over what i pay now for rent.

although, no HOA fee is listed? might be a lot than.

Condos are a pain in the ass, you don’t want to deal with the other old ladies trying to tell everyone what to do. And I thought you hated your parents what do you want to live next to them for?
