To be fair, they were older - close to boomer age. That’s the majority of people I see asking their phone questions. I told my dad he had that feature on his remote when he didn’t just to see him get angry talking to his remote.
Holy shit that’s a horrible take and not even remotely true. First and foremost, it’s when their contract expired you dumb shit end of q3 beginning of q4. It has nothing to do with it being an election year. If anything the Biden Admin can step in and end it like they did with the railroad workers strike, which they won’t. These guys work incredibly hard and deserve a pay raise. I’m sure the fact that wages haven’t really rose in the last 40 years has something to do with it, or how they were working round the clock during Covid to empty ships during the supply chain crunch.

I’ve only known two people who’ve owned a mustang. Once was a stereotypical 70 year old boomer who splurged his savings on it. The other is my 50 year old Aunt. No one with taste thinks Mustangs are cool cars.
Not to go into specifics but this wasn’t even a thing until maybe the last 60-90 days when they began contract negotiations . I talk to my logistics guy regularly getting his feedback. At the beginning of September it was 50/50, as the month wore on it was increasing more and more that there was going to be a strike.
The last time I remember the mustang being portrayed as cool was the 90s - that seemed to be the go-to “cool guy” car on tv shows (sitcoms) and some movies.
