India was legit the richest place on Earth under the Mughals...the English word "Mogul" derived from the ridicilous wealth the Mughal princes had. The Taj Mahal was built just to simp for this one Mughal princess, not even about glory or power or whatever else reason people built monuments and shrines.
Britain stole the "textile" industry from India...if not for the British East India co...industrialization would have happened first in Bengal, before Europe, as there were proto-factories already present in Calcutta weaving textiles and saris as early as the 1600s, and exporting to everywhere from Moluccas (Singapore today, because of Britain) to Zanzibar (part of Tanzania today, again because of the British)
Then a bunch jealous treasonous Maharaja Hindu brahmins collabed with the British East India company...and the rest is history.
Their jewels, diamonds, gold...all of it supposedly went to Britain and all the royals could muster with it is have Prince Harry the cheap looking fella with not an ounce of nobility about him, lol. Harry looks like a Best Buy store manager, with his dumb mulatto co-worker retail mgr waifu. Well to be honest, navigating the world I would hardly think the positives of liberalism would ever have sprouted up the way they did in the 1800s if it occurred in the nonwhite world. I think Christian myth carried the heavy load of creating the sympathetic response at a national level. I may be biased though.
