From the bad acting to retarded story line he was by far the worst character on the Sopranos (HBO series about jersey mafia).

So he starts off walking around with his uncle Richie who lets him tag along to meet with bosses, talking about whacking capos in front of Junior...but somehow is uninvolved at all and has no pull in the game even at low levels? Hanging out with some jamoke at a pizza joint?

And then...

Tony is happy hes dating Meadow then Tony is DISTRAUGHT and SHOCKED to find Jackie is a piece of shit. Did he forget his own storyline?

The storyline was useful for showing what a manipulative, potentially dangerous foe Ralph was for Tony, along with the faggy beating of the whoo-er. Was it not? Ralph's 'God bless America, huh?' line is underrated.

I always thought the fact that he killed the dealer during the robbery seemed forced just to move his story along. Even for as dumb as his character was supposed to be I just don't see it

One of sillier parts of show is how many bodies they were stacking in like 2005. But that keeps it interesting

It must be genetic more than cultural. I knew a couple of British Italian guys and a bunch of Arabs just like that character

I grew up in Long Island till I moved in 2000 and Jackie Jr's were a dime a dozen. Alot of the kids I grew up with were just like him whether their family was connected or not. Him and the 2 guys who shot Chris played those parts perfect for the time.

He and his friends were all on meth during the robbery. So they start panic shooting. Remember Brendan from the first season? During one of his truck hijackings he and his idiot crew shot a driver by accident because they were all on meth. "Junior Soprano's gonna go apeshit!!".

Drug use leading to incredibly poor decisions and mistakes is one of the biggest reoccurring plots on the show. The Wire had a few scenes where guys would hop themselves up with coke or meth before they did a hit or robbery. It is a common stupid mistake that criminals make.

The Colombian who played Matthew on the show was involved in a fatal police shooting with another guy over drugs.

You gotta re-watch the show. When Jackie and his friends rob the card game one of them says "let's do it before the crank wears off". Brendan is said by Tony, Junior, and others to be a drug addict. Plus Christopher's friends were often junkies. It was obvious they were using meth before hijackings and scores.
