The idea that radio waves from Earth could reach 300 light years is a stupid myth that stupid people believe. The surface of a sphere is 4x as large as the radius doubles in size. So if you imagine the "sphere" of radio waves leaving Earth they will degrade at the rate of 1/r-squared, making them indistinguishable from the Cosmic background radiation after only a few light years. This is assuming they were broadcast with a transmitter more powerful than actually used in television.

Oh great - MORE heavy handed 80s references masquerading as Sci fi. Douglas Adam's was actually clever enough to write satire that was funny and memorable.

Fat Ass thinks that playing "Memba When...?" with spaceships is in any way comparable. He's crammed 80s references and especially hair band references in his other works in the same manner that he crams his oversized, dimpled ass into comically undersized jeans.

You aspired to be like Seth MacFarlane, in regards to MacFarlane's deft handling of Sci fi themes in his show, The Orville. Instead, you are more akin to Seth MacFarlane, in regards to his forced, often unfunny "Memba When?" pop culture reference laden cutaways on Family Guy.

Patrick S Tomlinson doesn't have a single creative, original bone in his body - and if he did, it long ago died of loneliness.

"But now you're getting sued kinda stupid"
