When "North Korean troops" were sent to the frontlines of Ukraine, it spelled to me Russian distrust of Iran/Syria. (The logical supplier of cannon fodder to Ukraine).
Russia greenlit the pager purges with Netanyahu. Russia did the Ibrahim Raisi helicopter crash (he wasn't fulfilling Russian quotes).
So yes, I think at best Assad is going to be in exile for a while. Putin summoned him, and gave Syria to the Turks/Islamists. Putin is now managing Hezbollah too. He will also recruit Jihadists and incorporate them in his coalition.
Turkey's days in NATO are numbered.

Putin is a vile criminal and has Muslim civilian blood in his hands more than the West, but his number 2 is a Chechen and they are his most reliable soldiers. He knows Sunnis can and will fight...he wants to recruit and is recruiting them. A Turkish-Russian alliance is coming to the surface and the west will punish Erdogan for it (they need him rn but they know his plan).
