
It’s the major talking point in this country about how vets aren’t taken care of even though they have given the biggest sacrifice of anyone in our country. I have vets in my family, every one of them under 50 joined because they had no other options, wanted free college and looked at it like a business decision.
If they manage to find themselves burning every bridge and living on the street, have we failed our vets? The idea of joining the military and it somehow being honorable is weak logic at best. I might even give a little leeway for the guys who enlisted on 9/12/2001. After that? Get fucked. You accomplished nothing, you probably got blown up for nothing more than the extra 4k per month for the rest of your life.
