I'll admit, I was bummed by Chris Cornell.

Before you all pitchfork my ass, you have to understand - he was a borderline misanthrope, had major mood swings, and as a person you loved or hated him... But every singer will admit to being an admirer, possibly even jealous, of his vocal talent. That fucker had a range I would kill my own mother for. Alice Cooper called him "The Voice" for a reason. And to see him cave into depression from drug abuse and not getting proper help, that's a genuine loss.

Then again, at least he didn't die on a toilet like Elvis, I suppose.
