I was a big fan at first but yeah Tires sucks and I'm sick of the fucking Philadelphia vernacular and all his dingleberry friends. Fucking "cidiiiieeees" and "dude" every other word. I do still find him funny but not like I used to.

I’m not really certain what they were going for with that show, like what is the theme and where are the jokes? It reminded me of The Office except somehow even less funny.
There’s one episode where they have all these models come in for something like a photo shoot, and there’s this very obvious dude dressed in ladies clothes flirting with Shane. Shane is getting all chubbed up by this clearly non-passing tranny for the entire episode and I thought ok, they’re going to do a reveal at the end or something where he figures out it’s a dude but the moment never came. Shane just spends an entire episode trying to fuck a dude and it never gets addressed. Weird, unfunny and gay as fuck.

I'll repeat what I've said in other threads on this very topic. The show is funny enough, but you'd hear way funnier jokes and be exposed to raunchier humor at an actual tire shop. Shane really doesn't want to be the anti-woke alt-right comic some expect him to be, so it seems like he dials down his humor more than he should and weakens it.

I view Shane the way I’ve views the NE Patriots when they were a dynasty. I don’t hate Shane, he seems pretty normal. I hate his fucking brainless, sheep fans. It’s these gen z/millenial mouth breathers who will say things like “we can finally call someone retarded again bro!!”
Now that I think about it, I’ve grown sick of cumtown as well. I tried listening to some of their newer shit (AFS) and it’s so fucking tired. Detached ironic absurdist shit that made me laugh in 2016. Maybe it’s the Lexapro making me depersonalize at this point.

He's capable of being funny, but he's also a faggot. It wouldn't surprise me if that news cycle story arc of him losing the SNL gig only come back bigger (...and rise again!) was some kayfabe bullshit to give him bona fides as the new "edgy" comedian. It's the same shit they did with Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson and Timothy Leary back in the day.

I really liked Tires. I like that shane seems genuine and clearly wants to put his friends into positions where they make money. He reminds me of sandler in that way. Beautiful dogs wasn't as memorable as the Austin special and I sorta think he's been spreading himself too thin lately. I like Matt mccusker but not enough to listen to the podcast without shane. MSSP seems to have become an after thought with shanes constant touring and other projects.
When you're as famous as he is you're unfortunately gonna get some intolerable shit head fans. I tried getting tix to one of his gigs a year ago and it was like trying to get fuckin oasis tickets. Once a comic moves beyond theaters it's just not worth it to see them live. Idc how funny they are it just doesn't translate.
