Do you Americans do a big family meal/event again on Christmas day? Fuck that. We have our massive turkey meal with all the trimmings on Christmas day and boxing day for all the left overs. Most people take a week off for of depending on what days Christmas falls on

Turkey is the shittest of all the birds you can eat, with the exception of wood pigeon. Bland, a pain in the neck to cook well, and too much of it leftover. Don't think I've had a turkey for Christmas in 20 years. Roast rib of beef every time. Goose is good too.

I know it's not common by any means, but the best meat i've ever had was American Bison. There used to be a Bison ranch out in the country from my town and when the guy had to put one down he'd sell the meat. I can't even describe how amazing it was, just perfect!

I love this clip, but never understood how chicken scored SO MUCH higher than turkey. Even in England is stuffing a chicken popular? What about goose or duck?
lol i don't know, maybe one of our resident Lobsterbacks can answer?

Yeah I don't rate it whatsoever but family want it. We tend to have 10/15 people gathered in a house for 3 or more days so leftovers are needed tbf.

I've never had stuffing in a chicken, but have had chicken "stuffed" with things like lemon, herbs etc. Definitely stuffing in turkey. Goose and duck you don't need to because they're both such fatty birds they have enough moisture and flavour

You can stuff a chicken but I am a little surprised at the number too. Maybe it was more a post war thing that's died out a bit since

I've never had it. How does it compare to beef? Similar at all? Richer?

I have to say that the meat i had was directly from the source, so I don't know for sure if any you could buy from a market would be processed or whatnot...
