Loved the library as a kid, but now that I'm a father, it's over the top how taken over the institution has become, especially with the targeting of children. Besides these cat ladies wanting Buffalo Bill to read to your kid, there's a crazy amount of propaganda books aimed at them. Does a toddler really need to know who fucking Ruth Bader Ginsburg is? My kid wants to read about the Hungry Caterpillar and the Cat in the Hat, not some christ killer bureaucrat that wanted to lower the age of consent and make abortions mandatory. Tone deaf faggots. I just take those books and chuck them behind the shelf so nobody can find them.

I totally think libraries have their place in society, but the dreck they recruit as librarians today are just embarrassing. Here in Dallas, I'd much rather talk to a "circulation specialist" city employee at the desk than the "librarian" with a master's in "Information Science" that just knows the dewey decimal system and how to make a "MY TWO MOMMIES LOVE NEEDLEPOINT" display at the front.

You'll never find anything that questions the official story on big historical events, books that investigate controversial topics like vaccine damage, usury, actual government coverups and corruption, etc. No Christian books in the kids' section, but I can find 17 books on fucking Hanukkah even though there's barely any jews in the area. Or drag queen shit or my two dads, mommy's softball roommate, etc. And the people that have a problem with it are the "extremists" with an agenda, not the ones giving (which she admits) sexually explicit books to kids. Hate these phony fucks and their feigned heroism.
