I only ever played the OG Halo with my buddy when he first got an Xbox. We were obsessed with that shit because going from ps1 games to that was pretty mindblowing at the time. Then he got NHL Hitz and we completely stopped playing Halo and I've never had any interest in any Halo game again.

I’m pretty good at games still, it’s all muscle memory from being a total nerd.
I’m still diamond or above in the rank playlists of all the games I play, though I don’t play much.
I was a 50 in H3 if anyone remembers that, in all the hard playlists like MLG.
The problem with games now is they use true skill 2.0 where it matches you in games to keep you at a 50% win ratio no matter what. It’s all pre determined and boring. You are either gifted a win or put into a blender you can’t win. It’s profoundly joyless.
I play maybe 2hrs a week on any game because of this.

Halo Infinite is fucking aids. I played it pretty hard when it first came out, but the multiplayer "Season" aspect, is gay as fuck. I'm not jumping into a seasonal hamster wheel.

Yeah, that shit is awful. Its fun staying partied up with the same people. Interesting that they dissuade the player base from forming "friendships"

There's a version of the Korean golf MMO Pangya for the Wii that let's you play as s character with an Ayane from DOA costume. I wanted to play it just for that but I don't have my modded Wii anymore. Thank you for reading my blog.
