Half of Pat's books aren't even remarkably bad, just on the low-end of mediocre sci fi you might flick through and forget about if you read a lot of shitty sci-fi. The last three got progressively worse when he started trying to be funny. Starship Repo is easily one of the worst professionally published books I've ever read, but even that's not so bad its interesting. Reading it is just a pointless waste of time. His biggest crime as a writer is his high opinion of himself despite producing nothing of merit.
