You don't mess with the Opester. Jimmy's "Opie's fired"-party was his Château d'If and in the years after, he's been planning and plotting. First he got Ant. And now he got Jimmy to step away from the very show he wrestled from Opie's grip. His purpose is now accomplished. They barely even remember their old friend Gregg but you can be sure that they will always remember the Opester.

Especially since Jim re-signed to do a show with him. Finishing out the contract after Anthony was fired is one thing, but he willingly signed a new contract for the Opie with Jim show.
