I reserved a bunch of hotels for a roadtrip, so I was calling them to say I got a new card in case they see I cancelled my card and cancel my reservation.

One hotel asked me for my new card details, and then asked for the security number too. I said no child. He said he needs it or he can't update to the new card. I said nooo child, and said i would book somewhere else.

Am I wrong? I thought you weren't meant to do that shit? No other hotel asked.

They were trying to card you. You should have asked to speak to his manager to make him shit his pants but then again the manager could have been in on it too, you never know with Motel 6.
