I know the Stern show hasn't been funny since mid 2000s but holy shit, this is just embarrassing. I'd rather listen to an Opie podcast.

That show has been sanitized and watered down to an unrecognizable level. I used to love Stern back in the day. I listened to more Stern than OnA I think. I remember when I thought sterns faggot unfunny Bobo was the “real” Bobo and OnA copied it. How embarrassing. There were a few channels on YT posting a bunch of old Stern that was great (BlunderBuss) but SXM was getting like multiple channels taken down a week so I think they gave up. I was always a Stern guy until I found the subreddit a few years after Anthony was fired. I stopped listening when he went to Sirius so I missed his implosion. Watched the Stern leak randomly a few months ago and it's horrible on so many levels:

1) We've lost our cultural relevance because we're behind a paywall!
What like everyone said would happen at the time, that you needed the FCC as an enemy? Without which you would go stale?
2) You're all gonna do a lot more work to make this show culturally relevant again for no money, because if the show isn't here your job isn't here!
Nigga, your agent programs Sirius XM Radio. Nobody's gonna make this show go away, you're just gonna milk Sirius until one of you or both of you is dead. That's when I'll do more work for no money, motherfucker, when I need to find another job.
3) Complaining that the show's logo (dated) was nowhere in the office or on their clothes.
Maybe you should have put the logo on the first slide of this Powerpoint, then, instead of the 31st?
4) Misspelling the word "structure."
Howard, you're a broadcasting genius. That barely broadcasts anymore and can't spell.
5) "We're going to have a core team that meets every week to make this happen." Mentions this 30x more times. Never specifies who will be on the "core team."
Wait, I have MORE SUPERVISORS? I already answer to Gary and then Marci and then you. Who the fuck is going to be on this core team and what more are they going to be asking me to do? The worst part is he has “freedom” in a sense to do whatever he wants, a large budget, large team of producers / writers and it’s the laziest shit I’ve ever heard. Everything is beyond fake, he doesnt even let calls through unless it’s one of just approved ball washers or back office staff with a script. You look back on when the show was just Jackie, Fred, Billy West writing and a small staff and it was hilarious. Even the “wack pack” has been neutered since it’s not PC to laugh at wackos.

The funniest HSS moment of the last ten years was when he appeared on that gay morning show and told Whoopi Goldberg that he never said nigger, which was an outrageous lie, as I heard him say nigger hundreds and hundreds of times. Howie is a scared and frightened shell of a man.
