There was no option for just 'male'. It was either cis male, cis female or trans man/trans woman.

I am a white heterosexual male and for various employer surveys and/or job applications I have said that I identify as a disadvantaged minority, ethnicity or sexuality, primarily as a lark- no one's ever asked me about that status. What the fuck is up with employers asking if you're gay? Why does that matter? Why do they need to know?

It's crazy that something that's pretty much just a trend for teenage girls has become this thing that's just accepted as real now. It's like if emos back in the day were a protected class and got their own gender classification.

It's beyond creeping in. It's fully here. Almost every form for anything now has "non binary" as one of the options and they always word it as "How do you identify?" rather just asking what gender you are.
