Not in America. The data's probably anonymized enough to satisfy the law, as in, an IP address and device fingerprint don't contain your name right there, despite it being trivial to obtain if need be.

We have people who anonymise data and comply with regulations at work, so I don’t know anything about it. I’ve got in trouble previously for importing real data into a test system before.
I just assume it’s all bullshit and we have zero privacy online.
