I'm working on a screenplay centering around a crotchety, perpetually angry Twitter personality who is deeply impacted by a nationwide internet outage caused by the President Of The United States' executive decrees. Without any way to podcast, game, or tweet, the main character begins drinking even more heavily, and drives away his greedy, bitchy wife, which leads him to explore the dark urges he's been suppressing for his entire life. After being berated by a black pimp for being too old and ugly to be a gay male escort, the lead character kills himself. Then, the next day, the real internet comes back. I'm using "Holy Shit" as a placeholder title for the moment.
