I knew this weird bald faggot whose whole personality was based on "I used to manage Cheap Trick." Long story short he didn't. Saw them open for Aerosmith when they had put out Special One and they were great. And then again on Fremont st. in Vegas and drug my kids there. They were good but didn't play anything off Special One.

I saw them twice, once in the 80s and again in 2010 or 2011, I forget. The first time was better, but they were pretty decent the second time too, I guess. Their first three records still hold up. They did some OK stuff after that but those albums were their peak.

Secret Treaties is the shit
The first three are excellent. I prefer the first one, but it's real close. They did a few pretty good records after Secret Treaties, but they lost their weird edge and became just another band. They were kind of creepy and menacing, with those fucked-up lyrics.
